Wills & Probate Services
We advise our clients to make Wills. If you do not have a Will, your property will pass according to pre-set rules. If that happens, the people you would like to benefit from your property might not benefit. Your Will can also appoint guardians for your children, and set out your wishes.
Our Will service is cost effective and quick, and takes away the worry about what will happen to your property after you pass away.
Wills & Probate Services
Drafting & Executing Wills
Having a Will is important for your peace of mind. It means that you decide who benefits from your estate and property. It also lets you express important wishes, and appoint guardians for your children. At short notice if necessary, we can advise you upon and prepare a legally binding Will, and have the Will properly executed; if need be, we will come to you.
Lasting Powers Of Attorney
Lasting Powers of Attorney are important when there is a risk that you or a loved one will not be able to manage your affairs in the future. Lasting Powers of Attorney give you the reassurance that your health and welfare, and property and financial affairs, will be dealt with by someone you trust. We can advise from the outset as to whether a Power of Attorney is appropriate and then deal with the process all the way from listening to your concerns, to drafting the documents, to registration with the Office of Public Guardian.
Administration Of Estates
At SBG we know that dealing with the probate of a loved one who has recently passed away and who may have left a complicated set of affairs can be both upsetting and stressful when also having to deal with bereavement. We have extensive experience in dealing with the administration of estates, including liaising with banks and other financial institutions and the selling of property and shares culminating in the division of the proceeds of the estate to beneficiaries under a Will or in accordance with the intestacy rules in the absence of a Will.
